What if the weather doesn’t cooperate?

We always plan with flexibility in mind. So If weather prevents a starry sky, we’ll adapt the vision: moody twilight, dreamy overcast, golden hour, or misty magic.

How long are the sessions?

Sunset session: 1 hour
Nightfall session (Signature): 2–3 hours Astro session 
The Whole Night (Full Night Experience): Sunset → picnic → Astro Session, approximately 4-5 hours

Can we do multiple locations?

Yes! Our starlight and whole night packages include multiple handpicked locations to ensure cinematic, varied imagery. 

Do you provide styling and wardrobe?

We provide you with a list of places to hire gowns + tux. We provide lanterns, blankets and other props to create a romantic, cinematic feel. Our team will advise on what works best for night photography.

Can we choose the location?

Not exactly and that’s part of the magic 
Astrophotography isn’t just about picking a pretty backdrop. Jordan is our master when it comes to reading moon phases, Milky Way positioning, and star movement plus adapting if the clouds roll in. All of this means the best results come from letting him lead the way.

Unless you’re booking the styled picnic or adding a helicopter adventure, the specific location won’t be pre-chosen by you. Instead, once you’ve booked, we’ll send over a short questionnaire where you can share your preferences like lakeside, mountain top, or forest. Jordan then uses those preferences to plan the perfect shoot, ensuring no two sessions are ever the same.

Can we include a helicopter ride?

Absolutely! The sunset helicopter experience is a premium add-on and allows for stunning aerial imagery at golden hour. Check out the heli locations here.

How should we prepare for the session?

Do we need photography experience?

Not at all. We guide you through poses and movements, creating relaxed, romantic, and natural moments. Our goal is for you to feel present and connected while we capture it beautifully.

When will we receive our images?

You can expect your professionally retouched images within 6 weeks. For our Whole night couples, we prioritise creating a cinematic story, so delivery may take slightly longer to ensure every image feels perfect.

Do you offer wall art or prints?

Yes! Your photos aren’t just meant to live on a screen, they're made to be seen, touched, and shared. We offer a curated range of fine-art prints, framed pieces, and wall collections so you can bring your love story into your home. Each piece is crafted with museum-quality materials to last a lifetime, and we’ll guide you through choosing the right size and style for your space.

Is transport included?

A hire car is strongly recommended in Queenstown, as there are incredible nearby locations to explore, like Arrowtown, Glenorchy, and Wanaka.
If you don’t have your own transport, Jordan can pick you up from your hotel. For sunset helicopter sessions, you can take a taxi to Heliworks.
